LIVE IT!, Steve Goodier
Editor, diplomat and poet James Russell Lowell had a wonderful attitude. One day, when passing a building in the outskirts of Boston, he noticed an identifying inscription: "Home for Incurable Children." To a friend he
remarked, "They'll get me in there some day."
If he means that he'll never be cured of an overriding enthusiasm for living, then I also hope they'll get me into a place like that some day. I never want to outgrow my zeal for life. I never want to become so jaded as to take living for granted.
Quick Life Makeover, Kathy Gates, Professional Life Coach
You can try to chalk it up to "they don’t have as much to do as I do." But let’s face it. Anybody who has an organized, smooth-flowing life has to work at it. I even heard one client of mine try to pass it off to good genes by saying that organized people have a different kind of brain.
Please! Let’s just face it people. Just like anybody who has a killer body has to work at it every day, a happy, healthy, easy life doesn’t just fall out of the sky. If it did, all the celebrities and politicians would have bought it and put it up on an infomercial by now.

Fashion After 40, Diana Pemberton-Sikes
With so many designers and trends targeting the svelte body of the twenty-something, is it possible to look fashionable as the years pass and your body begins to tell the tale?
Absolutely!
In fact, with a little ingenuity and sleigh-of-hand, it's easy to be fashionable and stylish regardless of how many candles are on your birthday cake.
THIS WEEK'S THEMATIC SELECTION
Editor's Note: This week's theme is Choosing the Positive. Life will get
you down if you let it, so -- don't let it!
Making Love in the Morning, Linda Alexander
A long, leisurely time spent in bed is a fantastic way to start the morning . . . especially if it's a traditional work day. To be able to spend it with the person you love makes it an especially fantastic way to introduce yourself to a new day.
So, how often can any of us do this sort of thing? Probably not often enough. Isn't that what makes it special, though? Isn't that what makes it something to savor, a memory to hold dear, to keep with you in that special place in your recollections, and your heart, so you can take it out over and over and over, smile at the images, and revive you when you need it most?
Reduce Stress: Honor Your Commitments, Stephanie Marston, MFT
Keeping your word is critical to reducing your stress and creating a life you love. When I say keeping your word what I'm referring to is honoring what you commit to. It's keeping your promises, especially with yourself.
Unfortunately, we usually betray ourselves more than we do anyone else. We say one thing and do another. For any of you who have children or for that matter, who once were children, you know how it feels to have a promise made and then not kept. You lose faith and trust in the other person. Well, the same thing occurs with you. When we don't keep our word we lose credibility and it undermines our self-esteem. Every broken commitment is a crack in the foundation for creating a high quality life.

ALL ABOUT THE BUSINESS |
Success -- There Are No Secrets, Ginny Dye
There Are No Secrets To Success
As you strive toward accomplishing your goals and dreams you need to know that there are no secrets to success! Webster's Dictionary defines a "secret" as something kept from public knowledge; something mysterious that is beyond general knowledge or understanding. If that were true then it would mean success is only possible for those few who have access to these great mysterious secrets. Nonsense!
The Aim of the Name: The right name attracts business. Does yours? Don Pooley
Large corporations spend lavish amounts seeking names for their products that grab a consumer, or convey positive feelings. Book authors do the same. As do magazine writers.
So, say you are planning something that needs a name: your new company, a speech, an article, your website, your email address.
STOP! Stop, and think.
