Featured Artist: Cora Morace, Author
The first book was written about my husband's birthplace - a very unique community on the Cocodrie Bayou in Louisiana that was lost to progress very quickly in the 1970s. It is fiction, a novel with a story, but also seeks to bring understanding to the sad cost of advancing civilization. The second has somewhat the same theme but this time the setting is Appalachia. In a mountain community, it follows the lives of two boys through their growing experiences, dangers and exciting adventures, which lead to tragedy separating them. Then the story revisits them as they return to the mountain and uncover an ironic secret disproving all they ever believed and leading them to defeat an evil that has been hidden for decades in the mountain solitude.

The Modern Guide To Choosing the Best Pajamas, © Branka Ilech
If you haven't shopped for pajamas in a while you will be surprised at the choice available out there. Gone are the days where you would only have one pair of pajamas, in cotton, with a collar and turn-ups.
In recent years pajama ranges have exploded in all sorts of ways to give you more sleeping comfort through ever-newer fabrics and cuts.
The savvy consumer can get comfort and restful sleep throughout the year, in any climate or temperature by choosing different pajamas that are available and using them in different seasons.
Most people readily buy special jackets for very cold or hot weather, but are unaware that the same advances are available for nightwear.

How to Price Invaluable Holistic Services, © Melissa Quiter
One of the most often asked questions I get from holistic professionals is, "What should I be charging?" The cloud of uncertainty around pricing plagues the best of us. When you aren't sure what to charge, you end up guessing. And, the last thing you want to do is lose prospects from guessing too high or undervalue yourself by guessing too low.
That is why using a pricing formula can be an answer to the uncertainty. The formula I use was developed when I faced the same dilemma. Existing recommendations for pricing didn't fit my holistic business. So, I created one that did. It has been very successful for my clients and me.

Being Good To Ourselves Through Understanding
Our theme this issue is "Being Good To Ourselves Through Understanding." It often only takes a moment of our day even though, in reality, it's a life-long process, but trying to understand -- ourselves 1st, and then those people who come into our lives -- is a seed upon which success plants itself. -- Editor
10 Whispers from Eternity, © Joan Marques
1. Every act is ultimately performed for egoistic reasons, if only peace of mind, or the anticipation of a karmic law. If we believe that what goes around will come around, and our acts are based on that conviction, than we basically do well for the egoistic expectancy of good fortune in the future.

Are You Insecure In Relationships?, © Carol Chanel, Certified Life Coach
Feeling insecure in a relationship is a lot like a headache: most of us experience the pain of it at one time or another and it's curable once we know what causes it and what to do to avoid it.
This 'pain' is most acute in romantic relationships. They can really bring out our insecurities. Insecure - lacking self-confidence.
Here's the interesting thing. Almost everyone is insecure about some aspect of themselves. So if almost everyone has something they worry about, or don't feel confident about, then how can they make you feel better about yourself? They can't. They're busy trying to get ahead or just get by in this world.
We're going to look at what causes you to feel insecure in relationships. What you can do to feel more secure in a romantic relationship. Who you can be to let confidence, not insecurity, fill you and guide you.

SURVIVING A DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY: Ten Ways To Make Peace With The Past And Create A New Future, © Suzanne Gold
Everyone comes into life with a purpose. You are a unique expression of the universal life force at the foundation ofyour physical form. Spirit guides you from the moment your life begins, and the people and events of your life reflect your spirit's journey. No one else ever has or will affect the world as you do. With every act, word or thought, you are adding to All-That-Is.
Your family is your first and most influential bond. What you learn from them colors the the way you see yourself and the world. As a child, your physical helplessness makes you dependent on the people closest to you for survival. Too often those relationships are destructive instead of supportive. The family you join already has tendencies: patterns, beliefs, and attitudes which they expect you to share. Going along gets you what you need, so you adapt to fit in. But when you ignore your instincts, you don't feel right. You create the opposite of what you intend.

Become An E-book Writer, © Alyice Edrich
When I lived in California, I became a mobile notary (signing agent) because I wanted something to work around my family. When I moved out of California
I thought I could simply apply for a new notary seal and continue my notary career; after all, I still had my contacts and they dealt with notaries nationwide. But upon arriving in the state of Pennsylvania, I was given a rude awakening. I could not receive a notary license until I had become a resident of the state for one solid year.
Upset? Yes. But I didn't let that stop me from earning a living out of my home. I had already written a pamphlet when I lived in California, so I took that information and decided to start a new career as an Internet marketer/author. While the sales were slow, in the beginning, I soon learned the ropes and began selling enough books to keep me at home with my kids. In fact, when our move to Wisconsin proved to be a wonderful opportunity for my husband to return to college full-time, I used the income generated from the sales of my e-books and freelance writing career to sustain our family for two full years.
To become a profitable electronic book author, you, too, need to learn the ropes. You can't write a book, place it on your website, and hope the orders come rolling in. You have to put in some real elbow grease, and work towards those sales.
Here is broad outline to help you get started.

Stripping for the Audience: Secrets of Great Presenters, © Randy Spiegel
Some say the secret to being a good presenter is to visualize the audience naked. I say if you really want to be a great speaker, it's the speaker who must strip for the audience.
Great speakers and presenters are not afraid to bare their souls to the audiences. They strip away their masks and illusions allowing audiences and prospects to see them for whom they are. Audiences walk away not only with increased knowledge but some insight into the presenter as a person.
Whether our goal is to sell, educate, or inform, every speech or presentation has a goal, and key to reaching that goal is generating trust. In order to trust us, people must know us, like us, and believe we are credible.
It's no wonder so many of us are terrified to speak in front of a group. Presenting speaks to our greatest insecurity - people may not accept us as we are.
